The day will start off cloudy and wet especially across eastern parts of the region. In the west, the weather will be a little drier though still mostly cloudy in the morning. As the day goes on the rain will ease and turn into lighter, more scattered showers. In the afternoon, the clouds will begin to break up and we can expect to see some warmer and brighter spells. Winds will be light and it may feel mild when the sun comes out.

Thursday morning will likely start out grey and overcast but as the day continues, the clouds will begin to thin out leading to sunny or bright spells especially during the afternoon. Coastal areas may stay cooler and cloudier but inland areas will enjoy a fine and pleasant evening.

- Friday is expected to be bright and dry for most with some sunshine throughout the day.
- Saturday may start with some light rain or showers but it will likely turn drier and brighter later in the day.
- Sunday looks to be the best day of the weekend with fine, dry weather and sunny spells across much of the region.
Temperatures through the weekend will be close to or slightly above average for late April. It will feel pleasant in the sunshine especially where winds remain light.
